Biography

Tamás Jursonovics received the M.Sc. and PhD degrees from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2003 and 2014 respectively with specific interest on telecommunication and multimedia systems. He also holds an MBA from the Hochschule Darmstadt - University of Applied Sciences (2015). Tamás joined the Deutsche Telekom Group in 2003, where he worked on the introduction of Mobile IPTV system at T-Mobile Hungary; he was leading multiple Mediaroom integration projects for Makedonski and Crnogorski Telekom; he managed the international IPTV application development workstream of Hungarian Telekom. In 2011 he moved to Deutsche Telekom, where he is actively developing the multimedia streaming and content delivery networks. He has published several articles on the delivery, architectural, and pricing aspects of IPTV and wireless multimedia distribution technologies.

Tamás is a member of the Public Body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
